Low season

Now I understand why this is the low season. I haven’t seen the sun for two day and it has been raining for much of that time. When it does stop raining the humidity soars. I am staying on the Sunrise side of the peninsula where it is quite sheltered. The waves on the other side were great fun today, five foot rollers. No good to a surfer probably, but I had a great time being battered about and occasionally managing to catch one and body surf to the shore.

I did the jungle trail run again today in one of the rare hours when it wasn’t raining much. I run faster when I can see where I am going. Contact lenses might be a good idea although I still don’t fancy them.
