Music Master, the only decent music shop in Al Khobar, has some new stock in this week. I managed to buy the Emerson String Quartet’s “Intimate Voices” and their Shostakovich cycle recorded live at the Aspen Music Festival. Remarkable, two recently released discs actually available here in Saudi. Maybe things are changing. The shop went at least three years without any new stock at all.
