Examinations today, this time Business Studies or BS as we abbreviate it on the timetable. Students writing frantically, their minds humming with thoughts, synapses firing at top speed in an outpouring of material newly learned. Hopefully. Teachers looking on, eyelids drooping, hardly any mental activity at all, except perhaps the effort necessary to stay awake. Hopefully. Role reversal perhaps.Climbing was excellent today, although with the temperatures now well over 100°F it pays to stay out of the sun and in the breeze. Rising temperatures have loosened the holds too. We are developing the skills necessary to climb on spinning rock. I’m not sure how that translates to climbing on crumbling crags, but it must help.I have, I think, finally managed to enable commenting on this blog.
