Flights of fancy

I booked my flights this afternoon. I had thought everything was sorted out before I went down to Al Suhaimi Travel. I was just about to hand over the cash when I mentioned that I would also need a flight on to Brunei from KL. Clive mentioned that I could go through Bangkok instead and that it would be easier. That was just the start. What followed was an hour and a half of researching various permutations to get the best flights times and costs. Thoroughly confusing. Everything seemed so expensive too. Eventually I settled on a return flight to KL on Gulf (yuk) and then a BA ticket to London. Despite all the changes, I still am left without a flight to Bandar Seri Bagawan in Brunei. Flights booked from here are almost GB£200. I am hoping to pick up something cheaper at the airport in KL.
