Back in KL

Not so many weeks ago I was in KL with Saad, trying to get him a visa so that we could fly on to Kuching and join the rest of the students on the Borneo Expedition. I seem to be retracing our steps today. Same queue at immigration, same airline office to get a ticket on to Sarawak, and same check in desk as I wait for a standby flight. As on the last occasion too, the first flight I waited for was full. Now I have to hang around until just after eight.

Flights from KL to Miri, when bought in Saudi, were prohibitively expensive. Only slightly less than flying to the UK. From KL though, a single ticket costs just MR468.00
