Teaching

We are revising in Year 11 History at the moment. This week the students have been taking turns to teach a whole lesson in groups. On the whole they have been doing a great job and have put a lot of effort into their presentations and lesson ideas. Their biggest difficulty has been in trying to keep the attention of their classmates. Amirah was particularly impressive - communicating effectively and showing a very good command of her topic.

Mrs Stott, despairing of my untidy classroom, has offered to help me sort it out. In preparation I removed about half a ton of books and an almost equal amount of dust from the cupboards. Pasha put these into Mr Wade's office for me, just after the poor chap had finished tidying up his own space.
